Chariot Forge is an agentic AI solution that automates the human-on-the loop F2T2EA cycle. Traditionally, target development and execution of fires missions required humans to parse large amounts of disparate data, in highly compressed timelines, and to apply their domain knowledge and human reasoning in such a manner that did not scale with the pace of the modern battlefield. Chariot Forge rebuilt that process from the ground up to maximize the strengths of both human operators and AI agents. Chariot Forge’s continuous test and evaluation, defined workflow execution, and deterministic tool invocation ensure trust and accountability in these highly consequential environments. Forge coordinates and manages the entire call-for-fires (CFF), presenting the human operator with fully prepared fires missions to either reject or approve for execution.
Commanders provide Chariot Forge with critical initial guidance within a targeting cycle. Chariot Forge continuously manages the detection and development of legitimate target-quality tracks by leveraging the Army’s data layer and data ontology, third-party tools, and human direction as needed. Chariot Forge reasons over all inputs to provide actionable CFF recommendations to the operator. Chariot Forge:
- Perform the weaponeering aligned with doctrinal artifacts
- Coordinates airspace
- Assists operators with validating the proposed mission
- Presents and maintains the proposed mission and fully articulated reasoning chain
- Sends the fires mission to the fires execution system of record (AFATDS/AXS), upon human approval
