VIP Invited Guests

All registrants will receive a "Know Before You Go" with their registration confirmation on Thursday 8 Oct. This office is not responding to individual requests for confirmations.
If you do not receive the "Know Before You Go" on Thursday, 8 October and you know that you are registered, you may look up your name at the registration kiosk in the East Salon, Walter E. Washington Convention Center, during registration hours.
VIP-Invited guests can no longer reserve tickets through registration. Please read the following regarding VIP registration and tickets:
VIP Invitations to the 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition were distributed. A list is at the bottom of this page with the sent dates. If you are a VIP and cannot find your invitation or did not respond in time to meet the deadline for tickets, please take these steps:
1. REGISTER for the AUSA Annual Meeting: AUSA26 Registration, and we will see you there!
2. *NEW* The Annual Meeting Operations Center is no longer taking ticket requests via email or over the phone. We are finalizing our move to the convention center.
THE FOLLOWING EVENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CONVENTION CENTER, FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED:
Monday: Best Squad, Soldier and NCO of the Year Luncheon and the AUSA Presidents Reception
Tuesday: Sergeant Major of the Army's Awards Breakfast (VIP guest tickets only, not available for public purchase)
THE FOLLOWING EVENTS ARE SOLD OUT:
Monday: Moorhead Guard and Reserve Breakfast, Senior Spouse Luncheon
Tuesday: Dwight David Eisenhower Luncheon, Guard and Reserve Reception. Check in at the East Salon starting the afternoon of Monday, 12 Oct for Eisenhower lunch cancellations.
Wednesday: George C. Marshall Dinner. Check in at the East Salon starting the afternoon of Tuesday, 13 Oct for cancellations.
3. The Eisenhower Lunch will be live-streamed for those that cannot get tickets and would like to see the presentation.
The Annual Meeting Operations Center will be closed 7-8 October.

AUSA asks that VIP guests DO NOT register in advance of receiving an invitation. VIP Invitations will be sent to the email address(es) on file with AUSA (personal and/or business). We do not send invitations to aides or assistants. We can forward a copy of the invitation after it has been sent to staff upon request. Check personal and business inboxes before asking that an invitation be resent.
Key Dates
- 9 September 2026, one week before ticket sales close! Contact the Annual Meeting Operations Center by this day if you did not receive your invitation.
- 11 September 2026, RSVP date for VIP guests--please RSVP by registering and securing tickets by this day.
- 16 September 2026, the last day to reserve available tickets from the registration portal. All remaining tickets will be removed at midnight EDT. VIP guests who did not register and secure tickets by this date should register first and then contact the Annual Meeting Operations Center to discuss ticket options. Tickets cannot be guaranteed after 16 September 2026.
Who is invited? Being invited does not guarantee a ticket is available. Events fill up quickly! VIP guests are:
All SESs
All GOs
All CW5s
Active duty CSMs in 3/4-star level positions
All NG & Reserve CSMs
Select 1-star GOs and CSMs invited to the Solarium Breakfast
Other AUSA guests.
Colonels (O6) sitting in one-star positions may contact the Annual Meeting Operations Center to discuss invitation eligibility.
Who are not VIP guests? Aides and other support staff attending the AUSA Annual Meeting. Supporting staff must register as attendees.
VIP Ticket Information:
- VIP guests are invited to exclusive social events not open to general attendees. VIP guest social event invitations will vary, not every VIP is invited to the same events.
- Descriptions of invitation-only social events can be requested from the Annual Meeting Operations Center starting in August 2026.
- Please note that not all events allow for a plus-one. Ticket quantities available to VIPs are listed on the ticket selection page. If the VIP guest intends to bring a plus-one to a social event, select two tickets! If they are unsure at the time of registration, select two tickets! Extra tickets can be cancelled if the VIP ends up not bringing their personal guest.
- Cancellation/return of tickets must be coordinated through the Annual Meeting Operations Center. Tickets are not transferable and are the property of AUSA.
- All plus-one's must be registered for an AUSA attendee badge.
Widely Attended Gathering (WAG). All AUSA social events are approved by HQDA as a widely attended gathering. A copy of the WAG approval can be provided upon request. If your local JAG has questions, they may contact HQDA, Office of the General Counsel, Ethics & Fiscal, (703) 695-4296. AUSA does not make legal determinations on accepting social event tickets.
If you are picking up a badge and tickets for a VIP, you must have a copy of their government issued photo ID to receive the packet. VIP badge and ticket pick-ups are subject to the same ID requirements as all AUSA Annual Meeting attendees.
