Moog’s Reconfigurable Self-Loading Equipment Dock (MR SLED) is a modular, mission-ready solution that combines proven precision engineering and integration with program of record commonality to provide the Army with a scalable, futureproof Air Defense / C-UAS solution. As with SGT Stout M-LIDS programs, Moog’s Reconfigurable Integrated weapons Platform (RIwP®) is the centerpiece within the SLED capability while integrating partner enabling active/passive sensor and electronic warfare capabilities for a streamlined affordable solution.

Reconfigurability: Tailorable sensor and effector capability allows Soldiers to reconfigure the system in the field without contractor support to enable various mission focused configurations: gun, missile/rocket effectors, active and passive sensors, and electronic warfare load out.

Growth in Firepower Capacity:

Modular SLED-based capability allows the system to carry a greater number of sensors and effectors as the mobile platform payload capacity increases such as changing from the Infantry Squad Vehicle-Utility (ISV-U) to ISV-Heavy or robotic platforms. Flexible fire control and modular weapon interfaces enable future growth and save cost for integration of next generation effector, sensor, and electronic warfare upgrades.

Commonality with Improvements:
•MR SLED enables the Soldiers to operate and train on a common RIwP weapons platform and electronic warfare systems already in use within the Army which increases unit readiness across like equipment.
•RIwP Family of Turrets share 85% commonality of LRU subcomponents and 100% software across the designs, thereby reducing the logistical footprint through the utilization of shared components, spares, and maintenance parts. This allows for seamless application of improvements across the formations.
