The MUSKOX is a next-generation medium uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) from American Rheinmetall designed to meet the Department of War’s modernization and autonomy objectives.  It combines American Rheinmetall’s combat-proven systems integration expertise with Harbinger’s commercial, hybrid-electric chassis, and features Forterra’s autonomy suite, Primordial Labs’ natural-language interface, and Valinor’s medical capability capsule.  Together, these technologies provide a rugged, scalable platform for robotic combat support, logistics, and sustainment missions.

At its core, the MUSKOX is built on Harbinger’s commercial, production-ready drive-by-wire architecture and range-extended hybrid powertrain.  This design enables silent mobility, reduced thermal and acoustic signatures, and long-duration endurance allowing critical advantages for reconnaissance, contested-logistics resupply.  Its fully digital controls and modular electric foundation support advanced autonomy, teleoperation, and rapid mission-kit integration.  Combined with the team’s integrated technologies, the platform supports brigade-and-below sustainment missions and can accept mission-specific pods for additional roles.

The mature modular mission interface and U.S. industrial footprint enable MUSKOX production to scale quickly and affordably, supporting the DoW’s requirement for modified commercial platforms produced at mass with resilient domestic manufacturing.  The result is a U.S.-designed, U.S.-built robotic vehicle that extends operational reach while reducing risk to personnel.

The MUSKOX provides Warfighters with a dependable, adaptable medium UGV that leverages proven commercial designs while meeting the demands of modern ground operations offering the power of an autonomous, hybrid-electric platform paired with the mission-ready integration of a leading defense systems provider.
