Battle Challenge Competition 

A highly innovative “Competition with a Purpose,” the Battle Challenge is a unique fitness and ability-based military action sport comprised of marksmanship skills and job-related tasks that are highly relevant to the U.S. Armed Forces. Performing a series of nine tasks under pressure of time, Battle Challenge competitors race against the clock and their gender group opponents for the bragging rights to be the “Best of the Best” in an adrenaline filled side-by-side battlefield simulation that takes place on a mirrored course. Prizes for the fastest male and fastest female will be awarded.

Defense Technology Symposium - 26 July

The Defense Technology Symposium (DTS) will be held in conjunction with this year’s AUSA Warfighter Summit and will highlight the advanced technology needs of the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as the correlating capabilities of the innovation ecosystem in North Carolina and the southeast. The DTS will establish a dialogue and partnerships between industry, academia and government to address the future technology needs of America’s warfighters.

Health and Safety Requirements 

As we welcome you back to in-person events, AUSA is committed to the health and safety of our attendees. We continue to monitor recommendations from local health authorities and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for essential large group meetings and events. In consultation with the Army and given the recent trends in COVID-19 transmission levels, we have determined that in the best interest of all attendees, AUSA is requiring attendees to be 100% vaccinated against COVID-19, within 14 days of receiving your badge. A person is considered 100% vaccinated 14 days prior to 27 July 2022, by receiving a two-dose vaccine series, such as Pfizer and Moderna, or any World Health Organization-approved vaccine for international participants listed below.
