Where and when is the AUSA LANPAC Symposium and Exposition?

LANPAC 2020 returns to Honolulu, Hawaii, 19-21 May 2020, at the Sheraton Waikiki, 2255 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI, 96815.

 

Who is speaking in the general session?

AUSA guarantees a dynamic range of speakers from the Army, DoD, and industry related to the future of the Army. Stay up-to-date with the latest program developments by viewing the 2020 program agenda online.

WHO CAN COME TO THIS EVENT?

AUSA LANPAC is not open to the public. As a private association, AUSA reserves the right to deny admission or to cancel any admission without explanation. All registrants must provide proof of identity by a Government-issued photographic ID (military ID, valid US driver’s license, civilian CAC card, or Passport) and must demonstrate that they have an “identifiable relationship” with the U.S. Army. Following are examples of acceptable demonstrations of such a relationship:

  • Membership in AUSA
  • Employee of an exhibiting company
  • Government-contracted employees with documented proof of a contractual relationship
  • Invited guest of an exhibiting company on exhibiting company letterhead
  • Employee of an AUSA National Partner or Community Partner
  • Member of any component of the U.S. military
  • Civilian employee of the Federal Government
  • Member of an accredited Federal, State, or Municipal law enforcement agency, a firefighter, or an EMT/EMS
  • Member of a designated U.S. military or veteran association
  • Member of the military forces of foreign nations with passport
  • Any escorted guest of an AUSA Member

 

When and where can I register?
 

Early pricing, pre-registration is open from 6 January 2020 – 13 May 2020. Starting on May 18, 2020 at 1300, all registration will be at the Sheraton Waikiki at the on-site rate.

 

I am a military/government exhibitor, how do I register for the sessions?

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Military attendees serving as keynote speakers, panel members, forum members or exhibitors will wear the Tropical Army Service Uniform (ASU, Class B) or service equivalent.

Military attendees not serving as keynote speakers, panel members or exhibitors may wear the Army Combat Uniform (ACU)/OEF-A/Operational Camouflage Patten (OCP) or service equivalent.

Civilian attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire/Aloha crisp.

HOW CAN I RECEIVE A COPY OF MY REGISTRATION RECEIPT?
Receipts for paid attendees will be emailed upon registering. If you cannot locate a copy of your receipt, please email: registration@ausa.org.

Where is the headquarters hotel?
The Sheraton Waikiki is the headquarters hotel. You may reserve housing by clicking here: LANPAC Housing.

Can I obtain professional development credit?
AUSA’s commitment to professional development includes seminars and special presentations on the issues affecting today’s Army. Please refer to the symposium agenda for the latest schedule. Army National Guard and United States Army Reserve personnel attending program sessions are authorized one retirement credit for each day’s attendance if at least four hours are spent in program sessions in uniform (reference NGR 680-2 and Army Regulations 140-1 and 140-185). Recommend personnel be placed on orders in a non-pay status to document time.

How do I schedule a pop-up meeting room at the Sheraton?
Bookings will be taken on-site at the cashier counter and rooms will be provided first come, first served basis.

IS LUNCH PROVIDED?
Lunch is NOT provided; however, there is a mid-day reception on Tuesday and Wednesday.

WHEN CAN I ACCESS THE BRIEFING CHARTS USED DURING THE SYMPOSIUM?
Electronic copies of the briefing charts will be available online approximately two weeks after the symposium at www.ausa.org, under “Meetings & Events” and by clicking on “Past Events”. You can also click here to access the briefs given during the symposium.

IS VALIDATED PARKING AVAILABLE?
Validated parking is available at the Sheraton Waikiki Garage ONLY. A stamp will be available in the Registration area to decrease the parking fee to a $10.00 Banquet Parking rate for up to 12 hours for local non-guests of the hotel. Validation will not apply at other garages in the area.
