Donati & Cernis Systems
One Stop Systems was recently awarded an Army contract to develop a 360-degree visualization system for U.S. Army ground vehicles. The contract includes the development of a PCIe switch and compute platform which will be interconnected on a PCIe based network for real-time synchronized video data at multiple crew stations within armored vehicles.
The PCIe switch (Cernis) and compute station (Donati) integrate the latest embedded GPGPU technology on a high throughput and low-latency PCIe fabric. High bandwidth camera and other sensor data are fed into the PCIe switch then multicast to each crew compute station throughout the vehicle simultaneously – providing synchronized local memory access to real-time sensor fusion data. Throughout the course of the product development, the units will be qualified to the rigorous MIL-STD-810G environmental parameters associated with armored Army ground vehicles.
This cutting edge 360-degree situational awareness system will provide warfighters secure, actionable, and reliable data in real-time, improving the efficacy of the vehicle’s operation.
