Isuzu Commercial Truck Of America
The Trucks To Trust For The Work You Do
Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is a first-time participant in the AUSA Annual Meeting. Isuzu will showcase two work trucks that demonstrate the versatility and range of what is possible on an Isuzu chassis. You will quickly notice the superb visibility, maneuverability, and quality that is synonymous with Isuzu trucks.
The NPR-HD, available with a gas or diesel powertrain, has a Mobile Service Body built by Morgan Truck Body. This unique application provides essential equipment like an air compressor, battery charger, and welder for use on the perimeter of the truck. Inside the compact 14-ft. body, you will find a work counter, shelving for parts storage, and a tire rack. On the back is a Maxon rail gate that will not only help lift heavy items but gives you an elevated work platform for those harder to reach service areas. This Isuzu truck is perfectly built for those remote service needs and can be customized to fit your unique service applications.
The larger FTR is Isuzu’s Class 6 (25,950-lb. GVWR) chassis powered by a Cummins B6.7L diesel engine. Isuzu also offers the Class 7 (33,000-lb. GVWR) FVR for those in need of more payload. On display will be the FTR equipped with a 24-ft. Morgan dry-van body that is slat-lined and has a Maxon GPT-3 liftgate. This popular combination on a 212-in. wheelbase is not only easier to drive but provides more cargo space than competitors with a similar wheelbase. With over 10,000-lb. of payload, a powerful and efficient Cummins powertrain (260-hp, 660-lb/ft torque), and durability that is synonymous with Isuzu, this combination can reliably move cargo with ease.
