The rugged and secure CHAMP™-XD4 6U VPX processor card with Fabric100™ technology is designed for compute-intensive aerospace and defense applications. This processor delivers significantly more processing power than similar multi-processor designs, enabling developers of High-Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) and sensor processing systems to take full advantage of the unmatched performance of today’s leading-edge Intel® Ice Lake D architecture. Fabric100 technology uniquely delivers un-compromised, full 100GbE connectivity across a comprehensive range of secure VPX plug-in cards (PICs) and systems. Its higher bandwidth removes data bottlenecks in and between VPX systems and sensors, enabling powerful processors like the Intel Xeon® processor to perform as intended and without restriction in real-time. The CHAMP-XD4 is powered by dual Intel Xeon D-2700 processors combined with Fabric100 technology, which removes data bottlenecks to deliver more than twice the processing capacity and connectivity bandwidth of previous multi-processors. The CHAMP-XD4 also provides 6x more AI/ML performance. It supports higher-speed processing with lower latency data sharing, making it ideal for the most demanding, compute-intensive ISR, EW, and DSP applications. The CHAMP-XD4 uses a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) aligned to the SOSA Technical Standard for maximum interoperability and ease of system integration, enabling sensor processing systems to be developed, deployed, and refreshed faster. CHAMP-XD4 has an AMD MPSoC FPGA processor and features Enhanced TrustedCOTS™ embedded security technology, which enables customers to develop customizable program protection solutions using Curtiss-Wright or a trusted third-party IP in a low-risk environment.
