Army FUZE Program
xTechDisrupt
Booth 8153 | Hall E
The US Army is launching xTechDisrupt to scout demonstration-ready technologies in four mission-critical areas—Electronic Warfare, Power Generation/Management/Storage, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Counter-UAS.
Tech should operate in contested environments, integrate with existing systems, and be ready for live experimentation within 30 days, ensuring rapid impact where Soldiers need it most.
xTechDisrupt offers up to $500K in cash prizes and direct access to Army and United States Department of War experts. Winners also get a shot at a YCombinator interview and an invite to Army experimentation this November.
How to Compete:
The U.S. Army xTech Program's live format for xTechDisrupt is a little different this time! Now you have two ways to participate:
1. Pre-register through September 22, 2025 on our website with a quad chart of your technology for the opportunity to compete in advance, skip the line, and secure a guaranteed 60-second elevator pitch slot at the xTech booth (8153).
2. Register on-site at the xTech booth (Exhibit Hall E, Walter E. Washington Convention Center) on Oct 13–14 from 11:00 AM–3:30 PM ET. Onsite participants will wait in line and may be selected to pitch based on availability of open slots throughout the day.
Finalists will take the xTech stage to deliver a high-impact 5-minute pitch to Army and DOW experts.

U.S. Army Innovator’s Corner
Booth 7841 | Hall D
This year, the Innovator’s Corner will feature over 30 innovative small businesses, all alumni of the xTech and SBIR programs. Each day, up to 11 companies will demonstrate transformative technologies across areas including AI/ML, energy resiliency, sensors, immersive/wearables, contested logistics, and more. These innovations are not only advancing Army capabilities but also shaping the broader DOD technology ecosystem, as many companies refine dual-use solutions aligned to mission needs. Stop by to see how these small businesses are spurring the future of technology for the Army and about the upcoming opportunities from the xTech and Army SBIR|STTR Programs.

U.S. Army xTech
The U.S. Army xTech Program, sponsored by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)), is the driving force in exploring innovative technologies from small businesses and non-traditional entities to grow the Army and Department of Defense ecosystems – supporting Soldiers by solving critical mission challenges.
The Army xTech Program is the Army’s premier tool for scouting and accelerating dual-use technologies that directly enhance Soldier readiness and mission success. Through dynamic prize competitions like xTechSearch, xTech identifies breakthrough solutions and opens doors for nontraditional companies to engage with and deliver capabilities to the Army. Since its launch in 2018, xTech has awarded over $30 million in non-dilutive cash prizes across 46 competitions—fueling innovation pipelines and delivering transformative technologies that matter on the battlefield.
The Army is the only service maximizing the prize authority statute, 10 U.S.C. § 4025, by offering non-dilutive funding through xTech cash prizes and follow-on Army SBIR contract awards. This incentivizes the private sector with a pathway for vendors to continue their work with the Army and drive toward transition. U.S. Army SBIR|STTR
The Army SBIR|STTR Program identifies top emerging commercial technologies that meet critical Army priorities, modernize our world-class Army and transition life-saving solutions into the hands of Soldiers.
In addition to non-dilutive R&D capital contracts ranging from $250,000-$15 million, the program provides a valuable opportunity for U.S. small businesses to engage with technical, acquisition and operational subject matter experts. These experts offer insight into technology needs while guiding them through the Army research and development ecosystem.
The Army SBIR Program releases contract opportunities on a rolling basis to respond to the Army’s current and anticipated technology needs. For a list of open topics and eligibility information, visit www.armysbir.army.mil.
