Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) Mobile Field Exchange Units (MFE)

Enercon, a small business concern based out of Peoria, IL, was awarded the AAFES Mobile Field Exchange Trailer program. This contract is for three years with an option to extend for another two.

A Mobile Field Exchange (MFE) is the "mobile" exchange in the Exchange inventory. A MFE has the ability to deploy within 48 hours of approved request to support troops in worldwide operations such as disaster relief efforts unit exercises and contingencies. The 53-ft. long trailer is lined with shelves of Exchange-supplied merchandise including hygiene products, snacks, drinks, and other essentials. Exchange associates operate the MFE and have full satellite and IT capabilities to serve troops.

This is the first time in AAFES' 127-year history that a program was awarded to support the Mobile Field Exchange efforts. This new addition of equipment will support the warfighter by delivering comfort and morale-boosting services around the globe.
