Meeting Space Requests

AUSA welcomes affiliated organizations, government, exhibitors and sponsors to convene and host various functions during the 2021 Annual Meeting and will accept meeting space requests for functions at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center through Monday, August 16.  All requests must be submitted using the 2021 AUSA Event Request FormRequests are subject to approval and assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

POLICIES
  • No run of show space requests; or multiple back to back room blocks allowed
  • Max time allotted is 2 hours, per day unless special permission is granted.
  • Meeting Space Requests are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Meeting Room Rental Fees do not include specialty equipment
  • Standard equipment provided includes tables (banquet rounds/classroom tables), chairs, stage, podium
    does not include high-boy tables
RENTAL FEES
Meeting Room Rental Fees do not include specialty equipment, audio visual, internet, food and beverage or any other costs associated with the room. These charges are the responsibility of the reserving company/organization. A credit card must be on file to process room assignments for organizations in which rental fees apply). If paying by check, it must be received by AUSA no later than 20 August 2021. Credit cards will be charged on or around 18 August or upon meeting space confirmation. There will be no refunds or cancellations after payment has been processed or check received.
  • Non-Members not exhibiting or sponsoring: $800.00 per hour
  • National Partners and Community Partners not exhibiting or sponsoring: $400.00 per hour 
  • No charge for exhibiting or sponsoring companies, chapters and military/government organizations

For day-long or multi-day space, please contact the following hotel partners. AUSA requires all companies requesting affiliate property meeting space to be an exhibiting or sponsoring company, chapter, or military/government organization. Requests are subject to AUSA review and approval.

NEED A QUIET SPACE FOR ONSITE MEETINGS FOR 20 PEOPLE OR FEWER?
AUSA will offer “pop-up” meeting space in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the Marriott Marquis for groups of 20 or fewer. These requests can be made onsite starting Sunday, 10 October at 0800 by emailing amtemp@ausa.org. Pop-up meeting space may only be reserved for a max of 1 hour. Food/beverage service is not available in these rooms and reserving parties must supply their own A/V.
